Graduation and awards
Your graduation day is an important milestone in your career. It’s the culmination of all your hard work and hours of study and the single most important date in the HEQ academic calendar.
The graduation ceremony is a time for you to celebrate your academic achievement - a prestigious occasion that brings together friends and family, teachers and trainers, as well as honorary BCS officers and distinguished guests from government and industry.
BCS organises graduation events in key locations around the world including award presentations for top candidate performance.
Graduation Ceremony, Colombo Sri Lanka
The next Graduation Ceremony will be held in November 2026 in Colombo (date & venue will be notified) for all BCS HEQ exit level candidates who have qualified in the Certificate in IT, Diploma in IT(with the project), and Professional Graduate Diploma in IT(with the project) from the April 2024 to April 2026 exam sessions.
Candidates will be contacted via email before the end of August 2026 with registration guidelines. If you have qualified and have not been contacted by that time, please email asia@bcs.uk
Anyone who missed previous Graduation Ceremony events can attend this event.
PROMS-G award
PROMS-G is our project and programme management specialist group. Each year the group presents the prestigious PROMS-G award to the candidate with the highest marks in the project management options of our HEQ.
The winner receives £500 presented at their local ceremony.
