ISTQB® Advanced Level Agile Technical Tester
Demonstrate your software testing technical skills in an agile environment with this internationally-recognised certification.
Who is it for?
- Anyone working in software testing who has achieved an advanced point in their career.
Entry requirements
- Successful completion of the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation level and a minimum of three years testing experience is recommended.
- Successful completion of the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level Agile Tester
- Training with a BCS accredited training provider is recommended.
What will I learn?
- Apply Agile techniques to ensure tests that provide adequate coverage
- Define testable requirements within Agile Team
- Create and implement various Agile Test approaches using appropriate techniques
- Support and contribute to test automation activities in an Agile project
- Support continuous integration in an Agile Team
- Support Agile Team in continuous delivery and deployment
- Learn the service virtualization concepts
- Work with, and share information with, other team members using effective communication styles and channels

When you achieve the certificate you can appear on the Successful Candidate Register (SCR).
What format is the exam?
- 90-minute ‘closed book’
- 40 complex multiple choice questions totalling 64 marks
- Pass mark is 65%
Simple non-programmable calculators can be used during paper based examinations (to be provided by the candidate).
Candidates taking online examinations will have access to an on-screen calculator. No other calculators or mobile technology will be allowed.
