Methodology

The survey was conducted online by BCS among its professional membership. A total of 1061 took part in the survey between 5–29 November 2024. The survey was promoted via solus email, weekly newsletter and via the chairs of the member groups.

Percentages quoted are based on the number of respondents who answered each question. This may vary from question to question because non-respondents to specific questions are excluded from the base. Unless otherwise indicated questions were put to all participants.
