What is BCS volunteering?

BCS volunteering introduces you to a friendly, active community and the opportunity to get involved in a range of roles supporting the running of BCS — from organising branch and specialist group events, to steering strategic change as a board or committee member, to working with the BCS policy team to form whitepapers on the hottest topics in tech.

Why should I volunteer?

If you have a little spare time, and you share our vision for a digital future that’s safe and positive for everyone, then you can make an impact as a BCS volunteer. There are many voluntary activities at BCS that would benefit from your skillset. Regardless of your background and experience you’ll find a role to suit, where you can meet people outside your current network and learn new things about technology and about yourself!
