Learning and Development specialist group: About the group
The BCS Learning and Development specialist group is for those involved in the development, delivery or management of learning to IT and communications professionals and users.
What we offer is:
- An exchange of expertise and knowledge
- Support for learning practitioners in the IT domain
- Involvement in setting the standards and frameworks for IT & Communications learning
We are a volunteer member group of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT for those involved in the development, delivery or management of learning to IT and Communications professionals and users.
The group is led by an elected committee of members who plan a wide range of events, that are open to BCS members and non-members alike. Most of the group’s events are free to attend, and many are hosted online and recorded for the benefit of those unable to attend in person. The group takes as its constitution the BCS rules governing member groups.
The group regularly contributes articles to ITNOW, the magazine of BCS, and tweets as @BCSLandDSG.
