Hellenic international section: FAQs

Do I need to pre-register for events?
Registration can be made by email to hellenic@bcs.org.

What time should I arrive?
We try to be punctual, since it is discourteous to the presenter to arrive while they are talking. You can arrive a bit earlier, and get yourself a drink or coffee and network with your colleagues who have also arrived a little early. Don't forget, you can continue networking after the talk.

Do I have to be a member to attend?
No, non members can also attend our talks. However, if you attend a few talks and find them interesting and relevant, we would encourage you to consider becoming a member of the BCS and its Hellenic section. Please ask a committee member for details.

Can I join the committee?
The committee is always looking for members who are committed to assisting us with our successful programme of events, numbers permitting. We are particularly interested in persons with experience and an interest in press & publicity, education and industry. Currently, we do not have any vacancies, but do ask at our open meeting.
