Hellenic international section: Awards Ceremony
The BCS Hellenic IT Awards Ceremony took place on 14 September 2023, at the Ministry of Digital Governance of Greece.
During the event, two scientific lectures on Artificial Intelligence were given, the first by Emeritus Professor of Artificial Intelligence of the University of Athens Ioannis Kontos, entitled "Some Artificial Intelligence Research in Greece from 1970 to 2023", and the second by Emeritus Professor of Computer Science at the Athens University of Economics, Emmanuel Giannakoudakis, entitled "Artificial Intelligence or Programming Intelligence".
As part of the event, six Digital Excellence Awards were presented by the President of BCS in Greece, Mr. Christos Stavroulakis. Eighteen Distinguished IT Graduates Awards were also presented to the following distinguished undergraduate and postgraduate IT graduates, by the Emeritus Professor of Computer Science at the Athens University of Economics and Business, and a Member of the Board of Directors. of BCS in Greece, Emmanouil Giannakoudakis, while the Academic Managers of the excellent Informatics graduates attended and made welcoming speeches.
