Calling for mentors!
19 August 2021
BCS and Coding Black Females (CBF) have some upcoming events that we require some mentors for.
The events are as follows:
- Tuesday 14 September – Confidence and leadership – 5:30pm -7 pm – Anyone who would like to provide their time as a mentor to dish out some good advice and help some of the ladies at CBF with their career journey.
- Monday 4 October – Advanced Mentoring session – 5:30pm – 7pm – For this we need mentors who are 10 years + into their career. Some of the ladies at CBF are more experienced and further into their career, but would still like a mentoring session, with more advanced practitioners.
- Tuesday 26 October – Black History month Event: Career Changers/ Change of IT focus – 5:30-7pm – This event will require mentors who have either changed career into IT or have changed their focus within IT, this is a prevalent topic, especially among women!
After the speed mentoring we would like to hold a Q&A for the ladies at CBF to be able to ask you any questions, which will also form part of the scheduled event.
If you would like to partake in any of the above, once confirmed I will send you a zoom invite and some suggestions for the mentoring sessions.
If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
