Kerry Sheehan is an award winning and globally recognised innovation leader, focussing on AI and emerging technologies strategy, policy and assurance. This includes AI strategy and policy within the UK, including regulation, and also internationally.
Kerry is a trained machine learning specialist whose work includes with technology's companies, AI developers, academics focusing on business innovation and AI research, and regulators to ensure a safe but innovative approach to AI.
Kerry provides counsel and leadership on safe, responsible AI design, development, and implementation to senior teams, including Boards, C-Suites, technology developers and workforces. This includes whole business and service improvements and innovation, across private and public sectors, ensuring customers and consumers are treated fairly with AI use.
Kerry's award-winning work includes the UK Prime Minister's and Cabinet Office, Home Office and Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, health and pharma sectors, the IHG Group, Costa Coffee and other B2C and B2B multi national businesses.
Kerry was a finalist in the AI Implementor of the Year Award, has been recognised by the UK Civil Service for Leading in Innovation and worked with the Alan Turing Institute to develop its 5 Year Strategy.
A member of the Responsible AI Institute and the International Data Science Foundation, Kerry is also listed in the top 100 women in AI Ethics Globally.
