Synopsis
As AI accelerates change in every corner of society, who gets ahead — and who risks being left behind? The rise of AI brings not just opportunities but also profound challenges: how do we ensure it benefits everyone, not just a select few? Today, we have two exceptional guests who will share their experiences advising and guiding senior leaders across different sectors on implementing AI strategies and solutions. Whether in multinational corporations, small businesses, urban and rural communities, or global humanitarian efforts, the path to AI adoption looks vastly different—but the lessons can be universal. Join us to explore actionable strategies and reflect on how you can help bridge the divide, ensuring no one is left behind in the AI revolution.
About the speakers
Bee Small FRSA is a passionate advocate of the role that AI can play in a fairer, more inclusive society. She is the co-founder of Project Alix, a B2B SaaS solution that helps organisations to provide meaningful support to their customers through accessible AI tools. The company works with the Peabody Trust, one of the UK's largest landlords, and the Enham Trust, a disability charity, among other firms. Bee has a background in financial services, she worked at Barclays Investment Bank designing new investment and risk management products, was Planning Director at Confused.com, and led Admiral Group's international expansion. She then turned her hand to the role that technology can play in tackling social issues, leading a turnaround and business sale of Urgentem, an ESG data provider and advising organisations on business growth as an independent consultant. Bee is the non-executive of Harecourt Community Housing Association and co-founder of Salamander DAO, a Web3 investment fund. Bee holds a BSc in Investment and Financial Risk Management from Bayes Business School and has an MBA from INSEAD.
