Synopsis

In this thought-provoking talk, Usama will take you on a journey into the intersection of technology and spirituality, focusing on how AI can unlock new insights from religious texts.

Using the Quran as a case study, Usama will share how advanced AI models like GPT-4 are helping researchers not only understand the verses but uncover deeper meanings and connections. This exploration transcends traditional boundaries of religion and ethics research, offering a glimpse into the future of digital humanities.

Expect to see how AI-driven topic modelling and clustering techniques can reveal hidden patterns and themes within the text, all while raising important questions about interpretation, context, and modern technology's role in understanding ancient wisdom.

By the end of the session, you'll leave with a fresh perspective on how data science can bridge gaps between disciplines and enhance our understanding of profound texts. But I won’t reveal everything here - join the session to discover what this powerful combination of AI and sacred scripture might mean for you!
