Synopsis
Kick-off National Apprenticeship Week with a thrilling and interactive Murder Mystery event designed specifically for Business Analyst apprentices! Hosted by BCS in association with Kilts & Kente, this exciting event will bring teams of BA apprentices together to test and develop essential analytical skills in a fun, high-energy environment.
How it works:
Five teams of six apprentices will compete to solve the mystery of Richard’s untimely demise. Throughout the event, they will work together to retrace Richard's final moments inside a country manor, using key Business Analysis tools and techniques to uncover the sequence of events leading to his mysterious death.
Each scenario will reveal a new clue, and through collaboration and problem-solving, participants will work to pinpoint the critical moment and uncover the missing artifact that holds the key to solving the case.
Skills Tested & Developed:
- Collaboration: Working together to solve complex problems, sharing insights, and piecing together clues.
- Communication: Using active listening and clear articulation of ideas to support the team’s efforts in tracing Richard’s final movements.
- Team Building: Creating a positive, trusting environment where all team members feel confident sharing ideas under pressure.
- Analytical Thinking: Applying real Business Analysis tools and techniques (such as swim lanes, process maps, and stakeholder analysis) to solve the mystery.
