Synopsis
Tanguy Dewavrin will host a presentation to explore how Lizzy Bennet was created in collaboration with the University for the Creative Arts.
This is a technical follow-up presentation from the 7th March 2025 Webinar hosted by Professor Sophy Smith.
Lizzy Bennet will be joining the webinar and able to answer questions in a Q&A format at the end of the presentation
SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY
Tanguy Dewavrin, Creative Director of AtomStars and StarPal.AI , has been in the video game industry for 3 decades, and created his first game at the age of 17.
Creative genius, he kept pushing the boundaries of gaming and virtual worlds. He worked on the first virtual world back in 1996.
10 years ago he created his own virtual world which is still leader on PlayStation, with over 2 million downloads. Additionally, he guest lectures for the Games and Creative Technology School at the University of the Creative Arts.
Tanguy Dewavrin is the founder of StarPal.AI and the creative technologist partner behind the collaboration with UCA and the Jane Austen House to create this AI avatar of a fictional character, a first of its kind.
Professor Sophy Smith is the Executive Dean of Farnham Campus, the University of the Creative Arts, previously Director of the School of Games and Creative Technology. She holds 10+ years experience as a composer, then moved into research around areas of Creative Technology with particular focus on immersive performance and interdisciplinary innovation.
