Synopsis

Jamie and Geoff will present ‘Wallets and Agents’ focusing on the evolving shift towards Personal Data Wallets, Digital Identity and AI Agents and how these will disrupt markets and the impact this new empowerment will have on organisations and individuals.

About the speaker

Geoff Smith: Geoff is a data strategist, non-executive director and advisor focused on human rights and cultural transformation in emerging data platforms and intelligent machine technologies. For more than 30 years he has led commercially focused data privacy and empowerment functions; developing, operating and transforming data systems and culture. He is a Visiting Professor at Loughborough University where he lectures and researches on topics such as Digital Ethics and Trust Economies, Innovation, Leadership and Empowerment Technology and Digital Decarbonization. An advocate for sustainable development he is an ethical advisor on the UK Government National Digital Twin Program and a member of the DIF (Decentralised Identity Forum) Travel & Hospitality Special Interest Group.

 

Jamie Smith: Jamie is the Founder of Customer Futures Ltd, an advisory firm helping businesses seize the opportunity around disruptive and customer-empowering digital propositions. He has been working at the forefront of digital identity and customer-controlled personal data for nearly 15 years, and has led breakthrough innovation across a range of digital ventures at both large enterprises and startups. With a breadth of experience across digital wallets, digital ID, AI agents and customer strategy, Jamie is passionate about empowering the consumer with new digital tools that work for them.
