Andy Reakes
Andy Reakes drives industry growth and innovation through strategic initiatives and partnerships, focusing on technology developments and occupational standards to help improve competency.
He regularly works on individual competence requirements in ECS and for Building Safety through groups such as Working Group 2: Installers and EAS Management Committee for Competent Persons Schemes.
Andy is Chair of the group that launched the CSCS Smart Check system, the platform covering 2m+ workers in the UK, and collaborates with government, contractors, and providers to develop occupational frameworks.
He also serves on various industry groups on training, health and safety, has been part of apprenticeship Trailblazer and T Level development groups for IfATE, and is a Trustee of the Electrical Industries Charity.
