Synopsis
This year, BCS NI are delighted to welcome Russell Kane, Higher Education Engagement Lead at Microsoft Ireland, and Rukaya Ogazi-Khan, Digital Architect at Version 1 to join us for our 2024 guest lecture.
Russell Kane is the Higher Education Engagement Lead at Microsoft Ireland. He previously worked at both Queens and Ulster Universities. He has the Microsoft “AI for Educators” trophy and will talk about global trends in further/higher education teaching technologies and the role of AI in future education.
Rukaya Ogazi-Khan is a digital architect in Version 1, one of the largest local IT employers. She specialises in developing solutions using cloud-based AI building blocks and will showcase how to build innovative solutions using AI tools from Microsoft and others. Light refreshments will be provided before the event. Following the lecture, we will present the winners of our 2024 IT Educator of the Year (Further Education) awards.
