About the speakers
Gabbi Trotter
I’m Gabbi, I have been working in IT Recruitment for 9 years at an IT & Digital agency called Searchability in Chester. I specialise in Software Testing Recruitment across the UK. I run Manchester’s largest Testing Meetup and have been lucky enough to have spoken at a number of Software Testing conferences.
Mili Mathew
Mili is a market-oriented technology leader with over 23 years of experience in technology and more than 15 years in leading and managing large teams delivering complex programs. Currently, she is the Head of Solutions Delivery at Chaucer Group, where she oversees products like Speciality Insurance and platforms such as Microsoft .Net in-house PAS, Exposure Management system, and Claims system (SaaS).
Mili has a strong background in Agile and Digital transformation, embedding continuous improvement, and cloud transformation. She is a strategic advisor to CXOs.
Mili is a champion of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, co-founding the first Employee Resource Group - Women in Chaucer, and co-chaired for Women in Collinson. She recently completed her MBA from Imperial College Business School, London.
Andy Shaw
Andy Shaw focused on a career as a software tester just over 10 years ago, after initially wanting to be a developer. Andy has been delivering talks both online & in person on a variety of subjects, & is keen on diversity & inclusion within the Tech Industry. He is the Editor of the online magazine "the Tester" (the official magazine of the BCS Specialist Interest Group in Software Testing specialist group), as well as the Diversity and Inclusion officer of the South Yorkshire BCS branch. Outside of his career, Tech & the BCS, Andy practices martial arts, and is an assistant instructor in Karate, and is passionate about mental health awareness.
