Our next event is in-person at The Stamford Gate, just off the A55 in Holywell. We have 3 wonderful guest speakers for the event:
- James Almond, who will be speaking about delivering digital change within the insurance sector, which he has been doing for nearly 30 years!
- Rhianne Wray, who has worked in IT for over 20 years, starting out as an IT apprentice and now IT consultancy business owner, focussing on process improvement and automation
- Kai Heale, a recent graduate from Durham Uni who is due to start his career with PwC next year will be reflecting on his experience of using GenAI and where the field may be going
We will start off proceedings with our short AGM. We are always happy to welcome new members to the committee and if you wish to stand for election onto any of the roles on the committee, please email martinrking@outlook.com with your nomination. Our Treasurer, Keith Richardson is standing down after many years’ wonderful service and finally looking to actually retire!
We would be keen to speak to anybody who would be willing to take on the role. Just a reminder that only BCS Members are eligible to vote. All member group committee roles can be found at the BCS website.
If anyone would like to discuss how they can get involved, please get in touch on events-cnw@bcs.org.uk

Throughout my time at university I worked with multiple charities to help them make effective use of tech and data available to them to improve their reach and make more informed decisions.
