Synopsis
Whilst FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) is traditionally used to transport healthcare data, we take a look at how Interweave, a shared care record platform, have used this standard to also transport social care data.
This has enabled a single platform for viewing a person’s Health and Care data and led to improvements in the delivery of their care.
The Interweave solution was designed and built for the Yorkshire & Humber Care Record. The technology is now also used in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire and LLR (Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland). The technology is owned by the partner NHS organisations.
In this webinar, we will be exploring:
- The reasons for using FHIR.
- The challenges experienced.
- The approach taken and lessons learnt.
- What has been achieved so far.
- What does the future look like.
