Synopsis
TickITplus evolved from the old TickIT scheme in 2009 when there was a greater need to develop the scheme to include the concepts of process and organisational maturity, address multiple standards, provide better supplier selection, and strengthen the assessor competencies.
Since its launch, it has maintained a good user base, with additional organisations taking up the scheme to satisfy business needs and to enhance internal processes and people capabilities.
One of the significant aspects of the TickITplus scheme is its ability to cover multiple international standards, some of which are third-party certifiable in their own right, but others that are not.
Using TickITplus as an umbrella for all these standards provides organisations with an implement-once-satisfy-many (IOSM) approach and allows them to demonstrate third-party compliance to some currently self-assessed standards cost-effectively as part of the certification to other more common standards, such as ISO 9001.
In this talk, you will be presented with some basic information about the TickITplus scheme, how it covers multiple standards in a tailorable manner and what benefits this can provide organisations with in terms of cost-savings in implementing a process improvement programme with third-party certification along with the potential to improve and strengthen organisations’ supplier selection processes.
