This event is a fantastic opportunity for knowledge exchange and interaction between academia, students and industry, aiming to create an interactive environment for building fruitful partnerships. Morning session - Cantor Atrium (ground floor)

Final year cyber security undergraduate students at Sheffield Hallam University will be showcasing their final year projects as poster presentations. You will be able to view and discuss the students' posters, as well as participate in quickfire talks. There will also be prizes for the best student poster presentations.

Join us in welcoming guest speakers Melanie Oldham OBE, Founder of Bob's Business & Yorkshire Cyber Security Cluster Chair, and Stephen Hack, Head of Vulnerability Operations at HSBC.

Melanie's talk, "Demystifying the Cyber Security Landscape," promises to unravel complex concepts, empowering you to navigate the digital realm with confidence. Her innovative approach has earned her accolades, including an OBE for services to cyber security in 2022.

Stephen's talk, "The Wonderful World of Vulnerability Management at HSBC" will focus on the exciting world of Vulnerability Management as a Cyber Security function.

Prepare to be captivated by their insightful talks and engaging participation in a dynamic panel discussion Addressing the Cyber Skills Gap, led by Neil Richardson, where we will also have Simon Richardson (Founder of ITogether) and Tharmini Janarthanan (Lecturer & Researcher in Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics) joining us to share their expertise.
