Synopsis

In this webinar we will cover:

  • openEHR the standard – what is it and what is it used for?
  • the modelling approach and how the two-level approach to data modelling works
  • tools for creating, maintain & publishing models
  • clinical data repositories (CDR) – an overview
  • query language (AQL) – a tool to unlock the data
  • APIs – integrating to the openEHR CDRs

We will round off with a personal view from the speaker on the journey ahead for openEHR & FHIR

About the speaker

Richard Kavanagh

Richard Kavanagh is a health standards professional with close to 20 years working in both the NHS and private sector organisations. He is a board member at HL7 UK, openEHR UK and INTEROPen and has extensive experience in defining, implementing, and consulting on healthcare standards including FHIR.

His current role exemplifies the use of open standards, demonstrating at scale how to use them together.
