Synopsis
BCS Northern Ireland’s “New Year, New Career” events are designed to inform and inspire those who are considering a move into the IT industry, or those who are already in industry and are considering a change. This online event, presented jointly by the Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS) and Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) will provide a showcase for the diverse and exciting range of careers and technologies available in these organisations.
In this session, attendees will receive an introduction to the NI government organisational structure, as well as it’s IT Assist and digital services teams, learn about current initiatives and IT programmes, as well as an overview of career development and progression available in NICS, and IT careers on offer in the PSNI. Speakers from NICS and PSNI will signpost information about vacancies available in IT in 2024 and discuss the application process.
