Anyone can be nominated to stand for Chair, Treasurer or Secretary. Currently the candidates are:
Chair: Dalim Basu (proposed Jim McLean, Immo Huneke)
Treasurer: Jim McLean (proposed Samuel Ofori-Sey, Immo Huneke)
Secretary: Immo Huneke (proposed Jim McLean, Dalim Basu)
We would like as many volunteers as possible to stand for election to the branch committee. We'll try to convene a meeting of the new committee as soon as possible afterwards in order to decide who adopts which role, and there's no rule that says any role (except chair and treasurer) is restricted to a single person.
Our events are for adults aged 16 years and over.
