In this talk Gillian will cover microbehaviours and privilege within the Tech workplace and will touch on her latest research (with the Open and Aberystwyth Universities) on how these factors limit the growth of the potential workforce for the IT professions.

Gillian is an award winning activist for women in technology, a published author and business leader working with companies to attract and retain more diverse teams in their technology and STEM workforces. With a long career in technology, Gillian is currently president of the BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
