Synopsis
Conversations, rather than chats, have the values and goals of both the user and their enterprise as context and intent. This makes them purposeful. Chat-based AI systems cannot provide this.
An appropriate systems architecture and conversational design method are needed.
The discussion will first explore the essential foundations of generative AI and the large language models (LLMs) like those upon which ChatGPT are built.
The nature of purposeful AI-based conversations will be reviewed, with attendees being invited to analyse the nature of conversations in which an enterprise has a stake, has contributions to make, and may benefit from some permissioned sharing of content.
Enterprise-contextualised, purposeful conversations have complex flows which change according to various parameters, including a conversation's content, the enterprise's policies and business goals, compliance regulations, and salient external events. Appropriate systems architectures will be discussed, with a discussion of Ipseita’s CAIA framework.
You can attend this session in person in the BCS London office near Moorgate (limited spaces) or watch and take part online.
