Synopsis

Join Yiu-Shing Pang, Open Data Manager at UK Power Networks, Melissa Tallack from Stream, Tara Lee and Ed Evans from the ODI, as they discuss the critical need for sector-wide solutions to address sector-wide challenges.

Regulators are driving change in the electricity and water sectors by requiring companies to demonstrate a commitment to open data. Open data is recognized as essential for innovation, delivering better services to customers, improving the environment, and achieving net zero.

Our panel explores how efforts enhance the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of water and electricity services. We will discuss how consortia are addressing regulatory requirements, sharing best practices, and leveraging collective expertise to overcome common challenges. The debate will also highlight the complementary roles of individual companies within these sectors, examining how their contributions integrate into the broader framework established by consortia.

This event is for anyone interested in opportunities from open data, specifically those engaged in the utility sector.
