Synopsis
The UK Computing curriculum in schools was expanded in 2013 to include much more extensive coverage of computer programming concepts in Primary schools.
Hear and see how one London school is creating changemakers to feed future needs of the technology sector. In-person guests will have the opportunity to try the Intelino Smart Train system for STEM learning. Requires a smart phone with bluetooth and the Intelino app.
About the speaker
Allen Tsui
As Subject Lead for Primary Computing at Willow Brook Primary School Academy, Allen Tsui teaches Computing every week to children in Nursery (aged 3-4) to Year 6 (aged 10-11).
His school won an ‘Edufuturists Primary School of the Year Award’ in May 2023. Allen was awarded the Extraordinary EdTech Teacher of the Year by Renaissance Learning in November 2023.
