Synopsis
The Office of National Statistics (ONS) confirmed Cyber Crime as being the number one crime type in the UK, which continues to increase year on year. This no-nonsense input is designed for all attending, irrespective of technical knowledge, to be able leave with some basic practical steps that will reduce both the individual and ‘SME’ from a devastating Cyber Fraud, Hacking, or Attack.
This seminar commences with a review of how our personal cognitive bias plays a major part in our own online vulnerability and addresses our mindset. A review of Current Cyber trends will be followed by how basic practical steps can be taken by all to reduce one’s risk of a Cyber-attack, Hacking, or Fraud.

Andy Kevan is the Cheshire Constabulary Cyber Protect & Prevent Officer who has spoken to over 30,000 Cheshire SME’s, students, and residents during 2022. His presentations are tailored to each audience to ensure relevance and are delivered in a light-hearted nontechnical way.
