Synopsis

"Ctrl + AIt + Ethics: In the use of AI" is an immersive online CPD event exclusively for BCS Members, focusing on the vital intersection of artificial intelligence and ethics. This dynamic session aims to engage participants in a profound discussion on the ethical challenges that arise in real-world AI projects. Through a blend of thought-provoking video presentations, compelling case studies, and live discussions, our expert panelists will guide BCS members through these challenges, encouraging active participation, questions, and knowledge sharing.

The event will also emphasise the importance of fostering a culture of ethics within organisations. This includes promoting transparency, accountability, and fairness in AI development and deployment.

After the event, you will be able to access a toolkit with additional content to further your learning and plan the next steps towards your own personal development. You will also be able to complete a short knowledge test to see what you have learnt and, if you pass, you will gain a BCS CPD digital badge.
