Rory Canavan of SAM Charter (SAM Charter - SAM, FinOps, ISO19770)
Rory Canavan, founding consultant and process guru of SAM Charter, talks about his beginnings in ITAM in this in-depth fireside discussion. After serving in the Royal Navy, Rory decided to leave for the more stimulating field of IT asset management, where he works on improving systems and procedures to provide efficiencies and savings for his clients. We will discuss the challenges he faced, the moments that ultimately led him to make the move, and whether or not he thinks he would have made the same decision had he known then what he knows now.
Those interested in beginning a career in ITAM, as well as those in search of qualified candidates for open positions, would benefit greatly from attending this session.
