As part of our #NewYearNewCareer series of events for January 2023, Ryan Quinn will call on his extensive expertise within IT recruitment, to provide insights and advice for those new graduates, early career or experienced professionals who are looking for new opportunities in the IT sector.
This session will cover a range of important considerations and information, including:
- The recruitment and job market in Northern Ireland
- What a recruitment agency does, and the benefits of working with a recruitment agency to further your career at various stages
- Tips for experienced professionals who are thinking of changing jobs (e.g. CV tips, moving from public to private sector, types of skills, interviewing, salary, holidays, culture)
- Tips for IT graduates starting their career in tech (e.g. CV tips, networking, professional development, LinkedIn)
There will also be opportunity for Q&A at the end of the session.

Ryan Quinn, Managing Director of IT Recruitment, VANRATH
With 18 years’ experience within IT recruitment, Ryan has worked in partnership with many FDI clients as they set up in Northern Ireland, by working on many successful recruitment campaigns to help scale businesses from zero hires to several hundred within specific timeframes and against SLA - KPI's.
