Official definitions talk of servant leadership and accountability for team effectiveness while imparting Agile knowledge. In reality, these roles have to navigate a variety of challenging contexts - a company's culture, technology stack, team structures, existing processes as well as people.
In this talk, Avipaul explores how an empathetic approach has been core to him overcoming challenges faced in a variety of organisations.

Avipaul is an established agile professional and engineering lead with over twenty years of experience in the industry.
An intuitive and knowledgeable agent of cultural change, he has been instrumental in a number of successful agile adoptions. Taking an empathy driven approach to leadership and coaching, he's a strong advocate of developing emotional intelligence in the workplace.
