Synopsis
Both diversity and inclusion are integral parts of how we make our organisations attractive places to work, with engaged and productive employees and teams that are representative of our diverse and multicultural society. However, as McKinsey & Co (2019) describes, ‘hiring diverse talent isn’t enough—it’s the workplace experience that shapes whether people remain and thrive.’
BCS NI EDI Lead, Jonathan Wallace will lead this event, with guest speakers from Liberty IT, AFLAC-NI, AllstateNI and the Ulster University student body, to take us through perspectives on EDI at various key stages in an organisation's development.
This will be followed by a panel discussion and audience Q&A.
While this event is focused on the Software industry, the topic and application is relevant to all industries - in short - everyone is welcome!
