Synopsis
‘Net Zero: A Digital Journey’ explores the instrumental role of the IT industry in responding to the climate crisis; delivering digital solutions to support mitigation and adaptation, whilst embedding sustainability into its own practices. The digital content series will feature stories from the individuals and organisations across the IT industry who are pioneering change.
With climate change representing an unprecedented global threat, more must be done to harness the transformative potential of digital technology to cut emissions and secure a positive future for the environment and society. At the same time, the industry itself must accelerate the reduction of its own environmental footprint.
From AI innovators, e-waste pioneers and computer scientists harnessing big data, the digital series tells the stories of the IT professionals who are transforming every industry and shaping our response to the climate crisis.
At the launch, we’ll be screening highlights from our participating organisations alongside a documentary film, followed by a panel discussion inspired by the key themes of the series. Afterwards, we invite you to join us for drinks, canapes and networking. In attendance, will be all contributing organisations as well as figures from the wider industry and media.
Our events are for adults aged 16 years and over.
