Synopsis
Traditionally systems development followed a waterfall methodology, the steady delivery tempo allowed time for information security assurance activities like penetration testing. The move to agile and continuous integration means that releases may be happening once a week, once a day or even more frequently and conventional information security approaches cannot keep pace.

About the speaker
Phil Harding has been involved with information security and assurance for the last 20 years. He established CyRisk in 2020 to focus on providing information security advice for higher threat clients, including the UK public sector and those handling high value intellectual property. Prior to founding CyRisk Phil led cyber risk consulting for BSI Group in the UK and held cybersecurity and consulting roles with companies including Airbus and PA Consulting working with clients in UK public sector, transport, energy, financial services, and manufacturing.
