You’ve read it in the news or perhaps you’re still waiting for the car you ordered “The [semiconductor] shortage has resulted in huge disruptions for major industries. Millions of products - cars, washing machines, smartphones and more - rely on these chips, also known as semiconductors.”
We will review how we got there, touch on Intel’s IDM 2.0 strategy, and take a look at some of the broader challenges the industry is facing beyond just supply.
About the speaker
Iain Beckingham, FBCS, Intel CTO UK
Iain Beckingham has over 15 years of leadership and management experience and 28 years of technology industry sales knowledge spanning vertical industries as well as ISV’s and OEM partners. Iain Beckingham is currently CTO and Enterprise Sales Director for the UK at Intel and represents Intel on the Cloud Leadership Committee for TechUK. He was previously Director of Cloud Service Providers EMEA. He joined Intel in 1996, and has held a variety of positions in both Sales and Marketing.
