Synopsis
Cyber Security folklore is littered with case studies of how things go wrong! The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games event was an exception in that context. Despite the huge worldwide interest in the Olympic games, and the consequent attention of cyber attackers, the games took place with zero security impact.
This success was enabled by not just the cyber security measures at the games directly, but also by the security programmes across Atos, the IT integrator for the Olympics. This is a three and a half year story of how Atos mobilised its 105,000 employees across 71 countries to support that success.
