Synopsis

This talk will provide an insight into recent trends of using AI in enhancing the state of cybersecurity, and how the scope could be extended to address the ever widening cybersecurity skills gap. A pragmatic view of opportunities and challenges will be presented for an interactive conclusion of this talk.

About the speaker

Syed Naqvi, Liverpool John Moores University

Dr. Syed Naqvi is a Principal Lecturer in the School of Computer Science and Mathematics of Liverpool John Moores University. He worked in the Forensic Technology Solutions of PricewaterhouseCoopers Enterprise Advisory before starting his academic career in 2014.

He has contributed for a number of national and European funded projects in the broader area of cybersecurity, and have published several articles in this field.
