Synopsis
Sussex Branch of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT is holding a monthly meeting in which a panel will try to answer your questions. We are particularly interested in explaining why BCS is relevant to you.
You may perhaps not be aware of the ways in which BCS influences UK Government IT policy and would like to hear more. You may also not be aware of the work BCS does with universities and other similar institutions in shaping the content of computing degrees. You could also be curious about continuing profession development (CPD) and the professional qualifications awarded by BCS.
This is a chance for you to ask questions about these and similar matters and also provide feedback to your local BCS branch. In a fast-changing industry we are interested in what is relevant and irrelevant to you, your company, your degree, and your career.
A panel of Sussex BCS representatives will attempt to give full answers in front of a live audience from 7pm on December 14th in Jubilee 144 on Sussex Campus. Free food and drinks will be provided.
Our events are for adults aged 16 years and over.
