Achieving Software Quality Management at the National Physical Laboratory using TickITplus.
Watch the video
Synopsis
Software quality management (SQM), externally certified using TickITplus, has been an essential part of the National Physical Laboratory’s quality management system ever since it first achieved ISO 9001 certification in the mid-1990s.
This presentation will describe some of the benefits of external assessment of an organisation’s software development activities. As one of NPL’s missions is to ensure the UK can harness and exploit digital and data infrastructure and technologies, the importance of such assessment can only increase.
Both presenters will bring different, but complementary, views on the subject.
