About the speaker
Nigel Hopkins has more than 30 years of experience in the IT industry. From 2011, he worked as IT capacity manager at IKEA IT AB, as a member of a small cross-functional team incorporating capacity management and SAM, with license management being a key area of involvement both in terms of optimization and negotiation. Having adopted an agile methodology in 2018, Nigel and his colleagues have extended and expanded this approach to service supply. As part of major reorganisations establishing IKEA digital, the original team has been re-imagined, repositioned, and extended, reflecting the business-focused approach to ITAM. In his downtime, Nigel designs board games that simulate the strategies and challenges of corporate IT.
