Synopsis
With a focus on planning for projected enterprise change, the Town Planner Enterprise Architect documents the enterprise and creates plans & standards to support its development. This helps business leaders and managers to make informed decisions based on current knowledge. The BCS EASG invites practising architects, and those interested in enterprise architecture, to a discussion on enterprise planning.
About the speakers
Ian West
Ian West is a practising Enterprise Architect and digital leader with a successful career spanning 30 years in multiple industries. With a firm belief that enterprise and business architecture is for all organisations - from large commercial enterprises to small not-for-profit organisations - he promotes the profession and its skills to allow good business and technology design for all.
Lorne Mitchell
Lorne Mitchell, MD of Objective Designers has over 30 years of experience in the creation, design and implementation of new architectures and business models as well as practical experience of implementing new ways of working across a range of industries and company sizes. He has pioneered a new way of visualising how industries and businesses can work together within an industry eco-system called “Circular Business Design”. He works extensively with SMEs and Charities on effective and Information Management strategies.
Galal Galal-Edeen
Galal Galal-Edeen is a professor of Information Systems Engineering, a Certified Usability Analyst, and a Certified Trainer. He has degree qualifications in Management Sciences, Information Systems Design and Architecture and Spatial Design. He was involved in numerous consultancy projects involving requirements engineering, information systems design and usability analysis. He thinks and writes about ways of improving the emergent properties of systems such as resilience and adaptability.
