Continuous professional development is often talked about as something that everyone understands. But do we really know what good CPD looks like? In this session, Kevin Streater, chair of the BCS Learning & Development specialist group will discuss what CPD is all about, what models of CPD exist, and how we can implement good practice in our own professional development.
About the speaker
The presenter, Kevin Streater, has over 20 years experience in IT learning and development and is a specialist in IT competency assessment, digital credentialling and education technology. Kevin is chair of CEdMA Europe, the IT vendor education management trade association, is a Trustee and Chartered Fellow of the British Computer Society, Chair of the BCS Learning & Development specialist group, Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Information Security and Fellow of the Learning and Performance Institute, Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists and is lead judge for the UK IT Industry Awards.
