Synopsis
The Bristol and Bath Branch will be holding its AGM and a talk by 3SG, an independent membership network supporting the charity, social enterprise, faith and voluntary sector operating in Bath and North East Somerset.
The talk will cover their work in Bath and North East Somerset, and touch on how those of us in BCS, and those with tech skills in general, can get more involved with local and regional charities to use our own skills and experience to benefit the charity and other third-sector orgs.
The AGM will report on the branch's progress over the last year, and elect committee members for the upcoming year. With a big year ahead planned, we are very keen on adding to our numbers from all levels of membership.
The Chair's Report will have more detail, but our themes for the upcoming year will be:
- Getting branch members more involved with educational work, especially in collaboration with STEM Learning;
- Getting more engaged with charity and other third-sector work, especially with 3SG.
Our events are for adults aged 16 years and over.
