Synopsis
This talk will cover the following topics from my experiences in the Automotive and Banking Sector:
- Nacho's background and his studies in cyber security
- Cyber Security on the automotive sector with my experience Jaguar Land Rover, covering the challenges of securing computerised cars (from autonomous and self-driving cars to the cars that we find today on the road)
- Nacho's PhD research is on automotive security, looking at the gap in Cyber security for future vehicles (vehicles communicating with smart cities and devices)
- Cyber Security and challenges that companies face today, my views as a Cyber Risk Manager in Lloyds Banking Group. The rise of ransomware, destructive attacks to large Corporate and SMEs, the challenges that companies face when handling a cyber security incident.

About the speaker
Nacho Fernandez, Cyber Risk Manager, Lloyds Banking Group
Nacho is a PhD researcher on Automotive Cyber Security at the Cyber Security Centre in the Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG), University of Warwick.
He is also working as Cyber Risk Manager at Lloyds Banking Group in the Commercial Banking Division, working with Clients, Suppliers and the bank security.
