Synopsis
The advance of technology is disrupting every industry, including the legal sector. To capture the perceived benefits of these technologies, all parties concerned in the legal industry are now planning for or undergoing some forms of digitalisation. ‘Going digital’ requires strategic planning to avoid undesirous outcomes. A pre-requisite of devising a digitalisation strategy is to know what the available technologies are and how they apply in specific practice areas.
Discussions on the status of the technologies and the trend of further development will form part of the presentation.
