Synopsis
Gareth Naylor has kindly agreed to re-present this topic to the Notts & Derby branch of the BCS.
He will speak about his experience designing and rolling out a modern workplace that is completely managed from the cloud and works better from outside the company network than within.
Gareth will also present about how roll-out was approached, the results, and how the workplace has coped since lockdown and the COVID-19 pandemic.
About the speaker
Gareth Naylor @gjna (Twitter) is a colleague to two of our other of our speakers, Paul Stevens and Andy Edwards, working for a large international utility company, where he is Groupwide IT Infrastructure Architect, responsible for:-
- Development and delivery of IT Strategy.
- Colleague communication, (in Business language) of Strategic progress.
- Cultural change and the enabling of Virtual Collaboration.
- Digital Transformation.
Gareth, as an IT Strategist and Architect, has 25 years of experience in IT in the energy industry, specialising in workplace and user experience. More recently he has been involved in the development and operation of Digital Lab’s for innovation and ideation.
