About the speakers
Ileana Herrera (QA Lead and Scrum Master in JBKnowledge, Inc), Argentina
Ileana is an QA Lead and Scrum Master with more than 6 years of experience in testing in JBKnowledge, Inc. She helps testing teams grow by enhancing their awareness on quality processes, best practices and collaboration. She loves to use games to build on that collaboration. Ileana is also an active part of the testing community. She's the organizer of the Ministry of Testing Meetups in Salta, Argentina. She can be found on twitter @ileana_herrera.
Maaret Pyhäjärvi (Principal Test Engineer in Vaisala), Finland
Maaret Pyhäjärvi is an exploratory tester extraordinaire with a day-job at Vaisala as Principal Test Engineer. She is a tester, (polyglot) programmer, speaker, author, conference designer and a community facilitator. She is Most Influential Agile Testing Professional Person 2016 and Top-100 Most Influential in ICT in Finland 2019.
Paul Gerrard (Founder of Technology Leadership Forum), UK
Paul Gerrard is a consultant, teacher, author, webmaster, programmer, tester, conference speaker, rowing coach and publisher. He has conducted consulting assignments in all aspects of software testing and quality assurance, specialising in test assurance. He has presented keynote talks and tutorials at testing conferences across Europe, the USA, Australia, South Africa and occasionally won awards for them. In 2010 he won the EuroSTAR Testing Excellence Award and in 2013 he won the inaugural TESTA Lifetime Achievement Award. He won the ISTQB Testing Excellence Award in 2018.
Alexander Pushkarev (a Senior Software Engineer at Xilinx), UK
With more than 10 years in IT, Alexander had a chance to work in different areas, such as development, testing and management. He had a chance to work with PHP, Java, Python and .Net platforms with different applications from microservices to monolithic and monstrous desktop UI applications. With such a wide background Alexander decided to focus on things that help to deliver high-quality software, starting from inception and all the way to operation. Currently, he is holding the position of Senior Software Engineer, but prefers to consider himself a full-stack engineer.
Parveen Khan (Senior Test Engineer at Square Marble Technology), UK
Parveen is a senior test engineer at square marble technology. Being a quality advocate she believes delivering high quality products is everyone's responsibility. She loves collaborating with teams and optimizing processes, tools and methodologies to enable the creation of high quality products. She is also an international speaker sharing her stories and experiences in testing to inspire other people around the globe.
