Synopsis

The COVID-19 pandemic has turned many business operational models on their heads, with many workers required to work remotely. This has caused many changes in working practices and has caused information security professionals to consider and monitor the compromises made to the security controls that enforce company information security policies. The change in working practices has also identified weaknesses and gaps in the technology landscape.

This event will discuss the observations and experiences from a panel of information security professionals and architects who have managed and continue to steer their companies through the impact of the pandemic and what lessons have been learned.

Speakers David Alexander, Matt Mason and Darren James from BCS and Tony Smith from CiiSec will talk about their observations and experiences during COVID. Each speaker will give a 10 minute talk followed by a Q&A panel.

Audience polls and breaks will take place during the session.

Our events are for adults aged 16 years and over.
